Jack Lambert
Stats: 162 games, 28 interceptions (sacks and tackles not listed)
Lambert was the tone-setter for the vaunted Steel Curtain defense of the 1970s in Pittsburgh–playing a menacing middle linebacker. An eight-year captain, the 6-foot-3, 220-lb ‘backer took on blockers with no regard for his own body, often staring down opponents after a tackle and delivering a finger-point to emphasize his hit.
