In 2001, Strahan broke the long-standing sack record that had been held since 1984 by Mark Gastineau, but it didn’t come without its share of controversy. On his record-setting sack, Brett Favre just dove down on the ground in front of Strahan–avoiding a big hit–and giving the record to Strahan.
