Being an NFL coach is no easy task. Being an NFL coach with longevity that can consistently win is even tougher. It’s no wonder every season ends with multiple coaches being fired. It takes a lot to be a coach who wins consistently. Here are the top five winningest coaches in NFL history.
Don Shula – 1963-1995 – 328 wins
Shula was beyond impressive as a coach. Not only did he lead the Miami Dolphins to an undefeated 17-0 season in 1972–including winning the Super Bowl–but he also holds the record for most games coached with 526, most consecutive seasons coached with 33, and Super Bowl Appearances with six, winning two.
