1965 – Sandy Koufax (Los Angeles Dodgers)
Koufax actually won two World Series MVP awards in the ‘60s–1963 and 1965. He was the subject to headlines due to declining to pitch in Game One of the series, in observance of the Jewish holiday Yom Kippur. But he lead the Dodgers to a win in Game Two, tossed a complete game shutout in Game Five, and went on to throw a three-hit shutout in Game Seven.
