While the Arizona Cardinals have bounced around from city to city through their history, they do have a long history with some outstanding players. The running backs who have played for the franchise may not go down as some all-time greats, but they’ve been solid nonetheless. These are the all-time rushing leaders for the Cardinals.
Otis Anderson – 1979-1986
Stats: 1,858 rushing attempts, 7,999 yards, 4.31 ypc, 46 touchdowns
Anderson was a workhorse for the then-St. Louis Cardinals. He rushed for more than 1,000 yards in five of his first six seasons for the Cards. His rookie season in 1979 was by far his best year, running for 1,605 yards and eight TDs.
