The NFL Draft is an inexact science. Teams won’t always hit on every pick, but they are bound to hit on a few each year. Busts are bound to happen. But an entire draft class being a bust? That’s rare. The 2011 draft class for the Philadelphia Eagles was almost an all-out bust.
1st round (23rd overall) – OG Danny Watkins
A reach when they selected him–and 26 already–Watkins lasted just two years with the Birds, and was soon retired.
