Ding, ding! Round two! All 30 Major League Baseball teams are set to officially begin Spring training for the second time ahead of the shortened 2020 season. Players are set to be back out on the diamond today, and the regular season will start either July 23 or 24, according to the league. The league also announced, the vast majority of Major League Clubs are expected to conduct training at the ballparks in their primary home cities. Baseball will be the first sport to return to our television sets, ahead of the NBA and NHL. The MLB playoff format will remain the same as recent years, and is slated to start on September 29 and run through October, pandemic permitting. No fans will be allowed in the stadiums, for now.
