1988 – Orel Hershiser (Los Angeles Dodgers)
Hershiser capped off a truly impressive 1988 season–one where he won a league-high 23 games, had eight shutouts, had 15 complete games, and finished the season with a record 59 consecutive scoreless innings pitched. And he won the Cy Young Award. The Dodgers won the World Series, and Hershiser became the only player in history to win the Cy Young, Championship Series MVP, and World Series MVP.
