Mookie Betts and the LA Dodgers have agreed on a 12-year, $365 million contract extension. This is the second largest deal in Major League Baseball. This deal tops Mike Trout’s record extension deal of $360 million. The star outfielder made his Dodgers debut on Thursday in the matchup against San Francisco. The Dodgers gave up shortstop, Jeter Downs, outfielder, Alex Verdugo, and catcher, Connor Wong in order to sign Betts. Betts is a four-time All-Star and the 2018 American League MVP.
